Situation: A recycling and pallet business needed a year-end cleanup that would support both management decisions and CPA-ready reporting. Income was grouped in catch-all accounts, services and materials were blended, and COGS lacked structure, making reports hard to trust.

Actions: We rebuilt the Chart of Accounts with a clear structure and numbering, separated income into logical categories, and reorganized COGS into meaningful groups. We corrected misclassifications, removed catch-all usage, and clarified key year-end items with documented decisions.

Results: The business now has a clean, readable Profit and Loss, structured COGS for accurate margin analysis, and a smoother, more efficient year-end handoff to the CPA.
